Jude Seymour, You Should Be Ashamed.

Nov2

Today, taking his cues from Media Matters, (hint: Media Matters is a far left, bomb throwing, hate site that gets more wrong than it does right… and that’s only when it’s not completely fabricating stories) Watertown Daily Times staff writer Jude Seymour thought he’d make some news by listening to a clip from the Rush Limbaugh show (provided by Media Matters) then go around to the candidates in NY-23 for reaction. The title of his article is Rush, you should be ashamed. So in keeping with that theme I reciprocated…

Here’s what Rush said:

How about Dede Scozzafava? You know what? Dede Scozzafava has just screwed every RINO in the country by showing everybody who they are. . . . She has just put an exclamation point on the problem with RINOs. They eventually end up exactly where most liberals do. They’re just a little slower in getting there. But they end up where liberals are. Scozzafava has screwed every RINO in the country. We could say she’s guilty of widespread bestiality. She has screwed every RINO in the country. Everyone can see just how phony and dangerous they are.

Clearly Rush is taking RINO’s to task here, DeDe is actually being praised by Rush for outing RINO’s and showing, to their obvious chagrin, their true intent and intentions. Viewing this as anything else shows an extreme lack of comprehension and projection.

Here’s Bill Owens fueling this made-up controversy:

Let me just say, I attended the debate/snooze fest last Wednesday night and saw first had what a stuffed shirt Bill Owens is. If the candidate got to win by agreeing with almost every point his so-called challenger made and threw in the obligatory “Failed Bush Policies” and “Comprehensive Health Care” and “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”… the guy would win in a landslide

Then came Mr. Seymour’s chance at the “Gotcha” question to Doug Hoffman:

Now, almost everyone who listens to or reads that quote comes to the same conclusion, that Rush is speaking metaphorically and although his language is a bit harsh… no one, save someone with an agenda, would take these comments as a literal accusation. If the Media were to ask for reactions and denunciations from every Democrat Politician who’s being supported by a radio host, TV personality, celebrity,or other politician who used the obscene word “Teabaggers” to describe Liberty and Freedom minded Americans across this country, there would be little time left for them to report real news. So Mr. Seymour is either being intentionally disingenuous, intellectually naive and dishonest or like other media hacks, took Media Matters’ lead and went out with the intention of creating a story out of nothing. You decide!

Big H/T to Robert Stacy McCain

I agree this is making a story out of nothing. Of course there was no outpouring of indignation when Montel Williams wished Michelle Bachmann would slit her wrists. The list of rude and crude quotes from the left talkies are endless. This Jude Seymour can be read like a playbook. He fits perfectly the liberal narrative.

I honestly wish I was surprised by this.

A few days ago, before the WDT endorsed Scozzafava, Jude tweeted this:

I responded with a snarky retweet, saying that the WDT appeared to have a Hoffman vendetta.

As you can see by their twitter feed, they bothered to rebut me not once, but five times. On an official newspaper feed. One that they apparently don’t use very often unless they’re preening Dede Scozzafava.

I told Jude that I thought it was very unprofessional of him to have a public debate of this topic, but he didn’t seem to care.

His actions, and the actions of the WDT as a whole, have been very questionable this entire campaign.

It gets very cold up here in the North Country. I use their rag to get my fireplace going. In the summer though, I use it to wrap fish.
