I really thought that Google Wave would be a great tool for using to get people together and collaborating. But it has seemed to peter out after all the initial buzz.

I still think that it is going to be a useful tool. But as it is now, there are many bugs and it is not exactly user friendly. And it can be very slow at times, I think that is due to using Google’s servers and everyone in the world is on them. I think when the bugs and Wave is able to be set on your own servers, it will be a much better tool. But as of now I have not been on it in ages and many of my friends can not figure it out, you need to be pretty tech savvy to use it. And they need to have a repository for all the add-ons and gadget in one place so you can find them easily. (They might have one now, I do not know, I have really been busy on other things right now)

I am not going to give up and say that it will never be the product that Google said it will be after the initial buzz. It may well be a game changer for collaboration, but needs some work to be done on it. And I am sure that Google is working on updating it and getting a final product that is mroe user friendly and more stable. So I will keep an eye out for what happens next and see where it goes from there.
