[UPDATED] Everyone Lies Except the Obama White House and Gibbs

Update:  Fox News reports:

The White House is disavowing a plan to have NASA conduct outreach to Muslim countries, but a congressman who talked to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden about that plan last month said the initiative was very real until somebody slammed the brakes on it.

Rep. Pete Olson, ranking Republican on the Space and Aeronautics House Subcommittee, told FoxNews.com that Bolden described the outreach program as part of the administration’s space plan during a conversation they had in June.

“He confirmed it to me,” Olson said. The Texas Republican said he thinks the program existed until the “uproar” compelled the administration to rethink it.

Of course, this White House says Bolden “misspoke.” Seriously, this is getting very old. When the truth behind the Obama agenda is uncovered, it is either an “unintended consequence” or someone “misspoke.” Really? I thought we had the best and brightest in this administration, how could so many misunderstand their directives or underestimate the impact of legislation or budgets.

I find this very interesting.  It seems that every time there is a statement made by a member of this administration or Congress that exposes the true intentions of President Obama, they are always lying.  Here’s another example, via Yahoo, where the White House contradicts NASA Administrator Charles Bolden.  As we know, Bolden caused a firestorm when he told Al-Jazeera network that:  

One of the charges Obama gave him was “to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and engineering.”

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that such activities are not among Bolden’s assigned tasks. He said administration officials have spoken with NASA about the matter.

Not to be that snarky, but I’m sure they have spoken to Bolden and told him to zip it.  Remember, the truth never changes and it is not possible that everyone else is always lying.
