On Monday Obama has said that he would be willing to travel to an international climate summit in Copenhagen next month. There nations will be meeting to discuss a new treaty to slow global warming. Yet there is conflict between rich and poor nations. Still Obama has put limits on his attendance, centered around whether the U.S. passes its own, tighter controls on Global Warming.

It comes in the form of Cap and Trade that the House of Representatives passed earlier this summer. The bill, criticzed as a large tax bill to citizens. Big businesses have been critized as getting too close to the White House in this intiative as well. Even the media has critized its own for not pushing a political agenda, such as Global Warming and Cap and Trade.

The bill currently passed Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works, and now prepares to go before the Senate Floor.
