Police are reporting that a shooting occurred at a popular bar in Vail, Colorado yesterday. The shooter was being escorted out of the building when he fired several shots from a weapon that he had kept concealed. He ran soon afterward but returned to fire more shots, totaling in 10.
When shots were fired, panic erupted as everyone dashed for the back exits according to the Denver Post.
The suspect was apprehended quickly and identified as Richard Moreau, 63. He killed one man and injured 3 others. Moreau said in a 2006 interview he had been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder who formerly lived in New Hampshire. The names of those he injured and killed have yet to be released.
